Festival decor is about small details: where the diya sits, what hangs by the door, what frames the pooja corner. These handmade pieces are made from pipe cleaners (chenille stems) at our studio in Jaipur, so the colours stay bright year after year. Explore them on the Diya Holder page and the Devotional Wall Hanging page.
What are the diya holder sizes?
Diya holders come in 6 inch and 4 inch sizes, each with a 2 inch base. The colour options include Red + Orange, Sky Blue + Pink, Green + Pink, White + Red, Yellow + White, Yellow + Red, Yellow + Green, Sky Blue + Dark Blue, Pink + Blossom Pink, Purple + Dark Blue, Purple Set, and single Red or Dark Blue. They are priced per piece, with a minimum order on the website (4 pieces for the 6 inch, 6 pieces for the 4 inch).
What is Shubh Labh?
Shubh Labh means “auspicious” and “gain”. The words are traditionally placed at entrances and beside the deities at Diwali to invite prosperity. Our handmade Shubh Labh is 8 inch tall on a 4 inch base and is sold as a pair, in colour combinations such as Red + Orange, Sky Blue + Pink, Yellow + Green and Purple + Dark Blue.
What are the wall hanging options?
Our triple layer wall hangings come in 16 inch (a 12 inch base with layers of 8 and 4 inch) and 12 inch (an 8 inch base with layers of 4 and 2 inch). The colour combinations use three colours, such as Sky Blue + Dark Blue + White, Yellow + Red + Orange, White + Red + Orange, Pink + Blossom Pink + White and Yellow + Green + Red. You will find them in both Devotional Wall Hanging and the Wall Hanging category.
How do I style a Diwali pooja corner?
- Start with a handmade aasan sized to your idol.
- Place diya holders on either side in a matching or contrasting colour.
- Hang a Shubh Labh pair or a triple layer wall hanging above or beside the corner.
- Repeat one colour across all three pieces for a polished look.
